DATABASE
Over years of working with growers, Landseer has accumulated knowledge and the data collection required to optimise fruit health, climate, and pests/diseases control. Although we are considered as one of the eminent post-harvest experts in the UK, Landseer provides advice throughout the whole season from fruit flowering, right through to harvesting, identification of storage rots and disorders, and store opening. Using this data, Landseer have developed a database that quickly and easily retrieves information pertaining to store activity (e.g. loading days) and storage regimes. Our database allows us to link samples to stores, measuring out-of-store and shelf-life qualities of the fruit. It also contains aspects of pressure, brix, starch, rots and disorders, which are all measured and presented in a report.
